Please pardon this tongue-in-cheek self congratulatory review. As you will see, being a bestseller isn’t as impressive as it sounds. But it’s still fun…
Please note that this article was updated (Mar 5/22). At the end, the results of the promotion and the winner are announced.
As you will see, with everyone’s help, we put Experiments in Muscle Testing on the #1 spot in every category.
The other day, I was in the process of getting Book 4: Muscle Testing for Metal Toxicity ready for the editors. Book 4 was a fun project, it’s about how to use metal toxicity testing as an indicator for various parasite species.
This is a sophisticated concept. If you get a heavy metal test done and it shows lead (Pb#82) in your toxicity profile, that actually means you have hookworm or whipworm somewhere in your body. If instead mercury (Hg#80) shows up, that’s an indicator for a tissue roundworm like trichina (pork roundworm) or anisakis (fish roundworm). Aluminum (Al#13) and arsenic (As#33) both mean flukes.
These organisms excrete a bacteria that soaks up the various heavy metals. Thus we can use a metal toxicity analysis to see which parasites we have. Since parasites are otherwise so difficult to find, this is a nice work-around. Really it’s the most efficient and effective workaround. This is explained in a little more detail in my article on The Health Ladder and in a lot more detail in Book 4, but that’s not out yet.
But I digress… In the process of getting Book 4 ready for editing, I happened to check something on the listing for Book 1: Experiments in Muscle Testing. To my astonishment, it was listed as #5 in ‘Bestsellers in Parasitology Textbooks” on the amazon.ca platform.
BestSeller
Experiments in Muscle Testing has been called many things, from ‘a life-changer‘ to ‘a game-changer’ to–my personal favourite–’The best sleeping pill since melatonin’. But I never thought it would be called a ‘Parasitology Textbook’.
I don’t think anyone knows how these bestseller algorithms work. 10 People could buy a book in one afternoon and that might push it to number one on the list, then nobody could buy one for a week and it could drop to #200. But it is pretty cool to see it there.
That tells me that people are starting to wake up to the fact that we have parasites, that they cause medical conditions and that there’s something we can do about it.
The irony is that I am actually writing a parasitology textbook. That’s Book 5 of The Complete Muscle Testing Series: Muscle Testing for Parasites. Here’s an image of the book cover. I thought I’d go with Raphael’s St. George and the Dragon for the cover art. Part of the reason I picked a work by Raphael is that he died at 37 years old from a sudden fever that was probably caused by a parasite.
Promotion
So I thought we could have a little fun and brighten up this dreary February of 2022.
If Experiments in Muscle Testing has to be classified as a parasitology textbook anyway, it might as well be a #1 Bestseller. I need your help with this and I’m going to make it as easy as possible. For the next two weeks I am moving the price down to a special promotional rate of $0.00 in royalties.
Currently, the pricing across the amazon platforms has been benchmarked at $24.99 CAD (so USD $20, €17, £14.5, etc.). That works out to about $5 in royalties.
From now until the end of Feb 2022 I have adjusted the price to:
CAD $13.27
USD $10.06
UK £8.37
France €10.51
AU $18.74 (How much does paper and shipping cost in Australia???)
Those prices cover the cost of printing the book and shipping it to you.
I think if enough people order a copy on amazon, we can move Experiments in Muscle Testing up to the
‘#1 Bestseller in Parasitology’
spot. Personally, I would get a kick out of that, and I think everybody’s parasites would get a kick out of it as well. They’re an unappreciated group, most people don’t even know they’re in there, worming away, busily causing medical conditions over the years without a lick of credit to their names.
Let’s change that. Let’s give them some recognition.
What to Do
But it only works if everyone orders it at once, otherwise the algorithm won’t pick up that anything has happened.

A Prize
To make it fun, my publishing company Vitruvian Press is running a cross-promotion:
For every softcover copy of Experiments in Muscle Testing that you buy on amazon from now (Feb 11th) until the end of the month (Feb 28/22), you will get one entry ticket for a draw to win a signed copy of the custom, limited, numbered, hardcover first edition, of which there are still some left.
So, if you order 10 softcover copies on amazon, that gives you 10 entries to win a 1st edition.
It has a full-color Health Ladder image on the inside front sheet and comes with a custom matching bookmark. Including shipping and tax, these first editions cost $126.
If you already have a hardcover copy of Experiments in Muscle Testing, you can always order the amazon softcovers and use them as loaners for your friends, so they don’t need to get their grubby paws on your custom, linen covered, stitched copy, with it’s debossed title in gold ink.
To be entered into the raffle to win a 1st edition hardcover, you will need to do a few things:
- Purchase the softcover on the amazon platform (links are above).
- Fill in the form below so we can enter your name in the draw.
- Make sure you upload a screenshot of your proof of purchase of the softcover.
- Note: this contest is closed. The entry link is no longer active.
The Draw: Update
The draw took place on March 1st. Congratulations to L&J from Kingston, New York!
To those of you who put Experiments in Muscle Testing on the bestseller list to begin with, thanks for your support. For those of you who will be reading Experiments in Muscle Testing for the first time, I hope you enjoy it.
Let’s make the world a place where people understand that they can be free from medical conditions…if they find the parasite causing the symptom.
We’re all in this together. Only awareness will change the world. Let’s change it.
Bestseller Status: Update
Thanks to all my readers, in the month of Feb, 2022, Experiments in Muscle Testing achieved bestseller status in every category it was listed in, and a few it wasn’t:
#1 Bestseller in Parasitology
#1 Bestseller in Holistic Medicine
#1 Bestseller in Holistic Alternative Medicine
It was also the #75 Bestseller of all books on the entire Amazon platform for a short while (this fluctuates daily, it’s only really impressive if it stays there).
And funny enough, it was the:
#1 Most Wished For book, AND
#1 Most Gifted book in its categories.
That tells me that a lot of people are getting what they wish for, which really cheers me up.
Now all we need to do is have a lot of people get what they wish for and not be sick anymore. For that to happen, we as a society are going to need to embrace the philosophy outlined in Experiments in Muscle Testing, and not only understand the relationship between parasites and illness, but also grasp the potential for electromagnetic frequencies to target parasites that other modalities aren’t able to eliminate.
This will bring about a stage of civilization that I call Space Age Medicine. If you really want to know, that’s what I wish for.
